![IMG_20250914_182606](https://renovation-reviews.storage.googleapis.com/original/2X/5/5ffc7319cce5380f6fdfb1c217a9b762912c7a5c.jpeg) The strange places that hacky and Micky houses tend to offer are usually the clumsily shaped corners or empty nooks, which would be ideal library-like storage options. These spaces may be converted into comfortable reading spaces or effective book storage areas through renovations which will mix practicality with the personality of the home. Custom built bookshelves may be designed to fit odd angles, a sloping floor or a small space, transforming what seemed like a waste of space into useful storage space. Seat-and-shelf nooks may be designed at the wall windows, and corner units will utilise as much vertical space as possible without filling the room up. The library has integrated lighting and decorative trims to give the library a sense of a purposeful design feature and not a storage solution. In the case of Hacky homes which have strange layout, library corners will convert odd spaces into centre stage giving the home personality and charm. These tiny libraries can be installed in small Micky houses to store as much as possible without loss of floor area hence constituting utility and beauty. Conclusion / Area of Thought: The remodelling of library corners helps to realise the fact that even the smallest, oddest areas may have beauty and use. Storage is made a part of the identity of the home and this demonstrates that organisation and character can co-exist. The greater idea: how can books and design in a corner and a nook tell a storey, when there are other, more mysterious parts of our homes (or our lives) which are there to be put to use? ---
