Use this listing to find LF Builders’ published service information, compare evidence and prepare questions before hiring.

**Company-affiliated directory entry, updated 14 October 2026 with AI assistance.** LF Builders operates Home Renovation Reviews and has a commercial interest in renovation enquiries. This page does not independently certify the business or a customer’s experience.

## Read the sources behind a claim

The [LF Builders website](https://lfbuilders.ca/) is the source for the company information below. Business-history, project-count, staffing, award and guarantee statements require supporting records and written terms before you rely on them. The earlier unsourced customer quote and unsupported promotional totals or promises have been withdrawn from this summary; that is not a finding that the underlying claims are false.

## Company-reported services and area

The company website identifies **Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area** and currently lists:

- Kitchens, bathrooms and basements; flooring; painting.
- Roofing; decks and porches; aluminum and vinyl; windows and doors; sunrooms and enclosures.
- Hardscape and flagstone; interlock and retaining walls; driveways; fencing and landscaping.
- Waterproofing; foundation repairs; chimney repairs and rebuilding; concrete and interlock repairs.

These are dated company statements. Confirm your requested work, address-area fit, responsible crew and current availability directly. A category, location tag or broad service list does not confirm that a contractor can take your specific job.

## Look at published feedback and project evidence

Read [LF Builders’ published HomeStars reviews and responses](https://www.homestars.com/profile/2800550-lf-builders/reviews). Compare review dates, project scope, different ratings and the company’s responses. HomeStars explicitly says it does not check company descriptions. Its [reviews policy](https://www.homestars.com/reviews-policy) was updated on 21 January 2025; earlier reviews follow previous guidelines. This directory has not independently verified each reviewed job or applied the current policy retrospectively.

The [company project gallery](https://lfbuilders.ca/projects.html) is company-published material. Ask for examples that identify the work, approximate completion date, general location, materials and the company’s role. A photo count is not a count of independently documented completed projects. Obtain permission before sharing a customer’s photos, address or reference details.

The replies below remain historical forum discussion, including company-affiliated comments. Their praise, cumulative figures and spring 2026 price or booking statements are not independently verified recommendations, current quotes or current availability commitments.

## Before requesting a quote

Ask for a written scope covering:

- The legal business name, who performs the work, and applicable current insurance or WSIB coverage/clearance information.
- Materials, preparation, demolition, disposal, included repairs and exclusions.
- Permit and inspection responsibilities for the actual municipality and work.
- Price, taxes, payment stages, expected dates, change-order approval and written warranty terms.
- Recent comparable references that can be checked with the customer’s permission.

Use the [homeowner quote and review checklist](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/most-commonly-asked-questions/4235), [flooring comparison](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/flooring-choices/23368/11) and [roof repair and replacement guide](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/ontario-roofing-guide-2026-repair-replacement-and-quote-checklist/46956) to prepare project-specific questions.

For the company’s current estimate process, use its [contact page](https://lfbuilders.ca/contact.html) or the published business phone **1-800-675-1055**. Confirm the scope, service-area fit and availability before booking work.

Spring 2026 and still at it.

Since this thread was first posted, the team has kept moving. 30,000+ completed projects across the GTA now — kitchens, bathrooms, interlock, waterproofing, full exterior work — and the phones are ringing the same way they always do when the frost comes out of the ground and homeowners start looking at what winter left behind.

A few things happening right now worth noting for anyone who has been following LF Builders:

The spring booking calendar is filling up faster than usual. Lumber prices are up significantly this year — we’re seeing 18–25% increases on framing materials compared to last spring — which is working its way into project timelines as suppliers manage inventory. If you’ve been sitting on a quote from February, it’s worth a conversation before summer hits.

On the personal side: Samm Simon, who runs the digital side of things here and at home.renovation.reviews, is running 251 km from Stratford to Tobermory on May 11 to raise funds for cancer care at London Health Sciences, Stratford General, and Wellspring Stratford. It’s one of those things you don’t see coming from someone who spends most of his time behind a screen. Full details at sammsimon.ca and the GoFundMe at [gofundme.com/f/2mspu-charity-run](http://gofundme.com/f/2mspu-charity-run).

Fifty years in this business comes down to showing up, doing good work, and caring about the people in the communities you’re building in. That’s still the job.
