# Lauzon Stoneworks — Granite, Quartz & Marble Countertop Fabricator in New Liskeard, Temiskaming Shores, ON (since 2008) Lauzon Stoneworks is a stone-fabrication shop in New Liskeard, Ontario, serving Temiskaming Shores and the broader Northern Ontario / Northwestern Quebec border region. Ken Lauzon spent 15 years doing exterior stone — walls, house veneers, driveways — through a sister business, Lauzon Landscaping, before opening Stoneworks in 2008 to handle interior stone fabrication for kitchens, baths, and custom installations. The shop’s day-to-day work is the CNC-assisted cut, polish, and install of granite, quartz, marble, and porcelain slabs. ## Services - **Kitchen countertops** — granite, engineered quartz, natural marble, and porcelain slab - **Bathroom vanity tops** and matching splashes - **Backsplashes** — full-height slab or tile-scale stone - **Shower surrounds** — marble and porcelain custom-cut to suit - **Outdoor stone** — barbecue counters, bar tops, and patio stone accents - **Monuments** — custom granite monuments (a carry-over specialty from the landscape side) - **Templating, delivery, and install** across the service region ## Service area The shop at 283 Hawn Drive is on the west side of New Liskeard, a couple of minutes off Highway 11. Lauzon Stoneworks serves New Liskeard, Haileybury, North Cobalt, the Town of Cobalt, Earlton, Englehart, Temagami, and the Ontario-side Temiskaming District. It also crosses the provincial border to serve Témiscamingue (Québec) communities from Témiscaming north to Rouyn-Noranda — a cross-border trade area that makes sense geographically but that few Ontario-side fabricators actually reach. Bilingual English/French service is available. ## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews Stone-fabrication capacity is a bottleneck in rural Ontario kitchens and baths. When a homeowner in Temiskaming commits to a granite or quartz counter, the two options are usually (a) ship a slab up from a GTA fabricator, adding freight and scheduling friction, or (b) work with a local shop that templates and installs in the same week. Lauzon is that local shop for the Temiskaming-Shores region. The firm is a member of the Temiskaming Shores and Area Chamber of Commerce (TSACC) — the directory’s first TSACC-member listing — and its cross-border Quebec reach is unique in the directory. ## More from home.renovation.reviews - Directory masonry and stone editorial neighbours (distinct scopes): [Castle Masonry (Carleton Place, heritage masonry)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/castle-masonry-and-construction-heritage-masonry-foundation-repair-stone-construction-in-carleton-place-lanark-county-on/983), [StoneWork Masonry (Carleton Place, decorative/chimney masonry)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/stonework-masonry-chimney-cultured-stone-parging-masonry-repair-in-carleton-place-lanark-county-on/985). Lauzon is distinct — it’s a slab-countertop fabrication shop, not a brick/stone mason. - Directory kitchen / cabinet anchors that pair naturally with a countertop fabricator: [Premier Kitchens Inc (Collingwood, AyA dealer)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/premier-kitchens-inc/621), [Derek’s Kitchen Designs (Espanola)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/dereks-kitchen-designs-espanola-ontario/635), [McCully Cabinets (Napanee)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/mccully-cabinets-custom-kitchen-vanity-cabinetry-in-napanee-on/701), [Reveal Kitchen and Bath (Manitowaning, Manitoulin)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/reveal-kitchen-and-bath-kitchen-bathroom-renovations-cabinetry-in-manitowaning-manitoulin-island-on/670), [Georgina Kitchens (Sutton West)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/georgina-kitchens/643), and [Tri-Way / Heirloom Kitchens (East Garafraxa)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/tri-way-general-construction-heirloom-kitchens-family-run-renovations-custom-cabinetry-in-east-garafraxa-dufferin-county-on/682). - LF Builders runs kitchen and bathroom renovations across Ontario — see [lfbuilders.ca](https://lfbuilders.ca) and the how-to guides on [blog.lfbuilders.ca](https://blog.lfbuilders.ca).
