How do you decide if a renovation is about personal fulfillment or financial return on investment? ---

To me I feel like it depends on what the building is serving as if it is an hotel or a school then you know it return on investments but your home you know it personal ---

Its your choice If you plan to place the house for sale then renovation should be about Financial ROI But if you are keeping it for your own use then it should be about personal fulfillment ---
