# KAS Home Improvement Inc — kitchen and bath remodeling in Ann Arbor, MI (est. 1983)

KAS Home Improvement was founded in 1983 by Ken Sparkman. His son John works alongside him now, making this a two-generation family operation with over 40 years in the same Washtenaw County market. Phone (734) 994-6093; website [kasannarbor.com](http://kasannarbor.com). They carry a 4.9 out of 5 rating on HomeAdvisor across all reviews. Michigan Residential Builder Company license 2102196109.

## Services

KAS specializes in kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, and flooring — with design assistance built in rather than treated as a separate line item. Kitchen work covers layout changes, custom cabinetry, countertop replacement, and full gut-and-rebuild projects. Bathrooms include tile work, fixture replacement, accessibility modifications, and complete redesigns. Flooring runs from hardwood installation through tile and luxury vinyl across the home.

## Service area

Washtenaw County and surrounding areas: Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Saline, Dexter, Pittsfield Township, Scio Township, Superior Township, Milan, Whitmore Lake, Manchester, and Belleville.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Four decades in the same market, father-and-son continuity, and a near-perfect HomeAdvisor rating points to a contractor that keeps clients coming back. KAS runs a focused operation — kitchens, baths, flooring — rather than stretching across every trade. That specialization tends to show in the work.
