# Journey Construction — Commercial & residential GC in Sioux Falls, SD (Est. 1910, Journey Group)

Journey Construction is the construction arm of Journey Group, a Sioux Falls-based firm with roots going back to 1910. Over 115 years, the company built several of downtown Sioux Falls’ early landmarks — the Boyce-Greeley Building, the Orpheum Theater, Sioux Falls Central Fire Station — and has continued into healthcare, education, and commercial projects across the Upper Midwest. The Journey Construction Professionals division handles residential and renovation work for clients who want the backing of a large, experienced organization on a smaller-scale project.

## Services

- Commercial general contracting — healthcare facilities, schools, office buildings, and institutional projects
- Residential construction and renovations through the Journey Construction Professionals division
- Industrial and manufacturing construction
- Civil construction through the SFC Civil Constructors division
- Pre-construction planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Project management for complex multi-phase builds

## Service area

Sioux Falls and the Upper Midwest. Journey Group is headquartered at 4500 W 58th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57108. Reach them at (605) 332-5968 or [journeyconstruction.com](https://journeyconstruction.com).

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Most homeowners will never work with a contractor that has been building continuously since 1910. Journey Construction’s depth of institutional knowledge, staff tenure, and project management infrastructure makes them relevant for renovation clients taking on a larger or more complex project — an addition that requires structural engineering input, a commercial-to-residential conversion, or a project where timeline and budget discipline are non-negotiable.
