# JLQ Construction Inc — General Contracting & Home Renovation in San Francisco, CA (5 Stars)

JLQ Construction Inc. operates out of San Francisco and takes on residential renovation work across a city where job complexity and permit requirements are anything but simple. The company holds a 5-star rating from 24 clients, a number credible enough to indicate consistent delivery rather than a few cherry-picked reviews. Their core work is general contracting, coordinating multi-trade projects from kitchens and bathrooms to larger structural renovations in SF’s varied housing stock.

## Services

- **General Contracting** — JLQ manages full-scope residential projects, from site prep through final inspection, coordinating trades under one point of contact.
- **Kitchen & Bath Remodeling** — Layout redesigns, fixture upgrades, and full gut-and-rebuild work in San Francisco homes, including older Victorian-era stock.
- **Interior Renovation** — Flooring, drywall, painting, and finish carpentry brought together in one cohesive project.
- **Project Management** — Permit acquisition, subcontractor scheduling, and quality control across all phases.

## Service Area

San Francisco, the Peninsula, and nearby Bay Area communities including Daly City, South San Francisco, and San Mateo County.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

San Francisco’s housing stock runs from 1890s Victorians to mid-century flats, and general contractors who can handle both eras competently are harder to find than the city’s reputation suggests. JLQ Construction draws a 5-star average across 24 reviews, which puts it in the upper tier for SF-based GCs.
