# Jim Renschler Construction Ltd — General Contractor in McLennan, AB

McLennan sits in Alberta’s Peace Country about 400 kilometres northwest of Edmonton, in a region where most trades have to drive hours to reach a job. Local contractors matter here in a way they don’t in urban markets: when the alternative is waiting for someone to come from Grande Prairie or Edmonton, having a builder who is already in the community is a real practical advantage.

Jim Renschler Construction Ltd is enrolled with the Alberta New Home Warranty Program. That enrollment means the company builds to a standard that a formal warranty program is willing to underwrite — and it signals a level of documentation discipline that self-described contractors without program membership often skip. For buyers in McLennan’s rural market, it’s a meaningful checkpoint.

## Services

- New home construction: site-built homes for Peace Country lots and rural acreages, built to ANHWP standards
- Home renovation: kitchen, bathroom, and structural renovations to existing McLennan-area homes
- General contracting: coordination of multi-trade projects for residential and light commercial clients in northern Alberta
- Rural construction: farm buildings, shop additions, and rural residential projects in the High Prairie and Lesser Slave Lake corridor

## Service area

McLennan and the surrounding Peace Country — Falher, Donnelly, Grimshaw, High Prairie, and rural Smoky River County.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Northern Alberta rural contractors with ANHWP enrollment represent a real commitment to quality standards in a market where oversight is thin and competitive bids are scarce because travel distances make most contractors unviable.
