# Jarrett Construction Services Inc — Design-Build & Commercial Contractor in Charleston, WV

John Jarrett launched this company out of a bedroom in his Charleston home in 1999. More than two decades later, Jarrett Construction Services is one of West Virginia’s larger commercial general contractors, working on projects ranging from $100,000 to $10 million across WV and the mid-Atlantic states. Over 74 percent of their business comes from repeat clients — a figure that’s hard to fake at commercial scale.

## Services

- Design-build and construction management: Handles the full project lifecycle from planning and estimating through to final handover.
- Commercial and light industrial construction: Serves educational, healthcare, religious, and hospitality sectors, with documented project experience in each.
- Historic restoration: One of the more specialized offerings, covering historically significant structures in West Virginia where standard renovation methods aren’t appropriate.

## Service area

Charleston, WV and across West Virginia, with a secondary office in Morgantown. The company also takes on mid-Atlantic regional work for suitable project sizes. CAWV member in good standing.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Charleston has a real shortage of commercial contractors with legitimate historic restoration credentials. Jarrett fills a gap that most residential-focused GCs can’t. For anyone doing due diligence on a large mixed-use or renovation project in WV, they’re worth a call.
