# Ja-Land General Contracting — Home Renovations & General Contracting in Hanover / Grey County, ON

Ja-Land General Contracting (also stylized “JaLand”) is a locally-owned Grey County general contractor with a Hanover-area service base. Publicly available info in April 2026 is limited — the firm keeps a small web footprint at jalandgeneralcontracting.ca, with a contact line of **519-369-7039** and an owner email addressed to **chris@jaland.ca** , which points to a “Chris”-led owner-operator shop. A Yelp listing places part of the service area around Owen Sound, which is consistent with a small Grey County crew that travels between Hanover and the larger Grey-Bruce trade corridor.

## Services (as described publicly)

- General contracting for home renovations and improvements
- Small updates through major renovation projects
- Residential remodels across Grey County and surrounding rural communities

## Service Area

Hanover-area base serving Grey County and nearby Bruce County and the Owen Sound corridor.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Ja-Land is kept live here as an honest placeholder for a Grey County firm whose public web presence doesn’t yet match its word-of-mouth footprint. If you’ve worked with Chris and the Ja-Land crew, first-hand reviews — kitchen, bath, addition, or scope-of-work notes — are exactly the kind of content that helps Grey-Bruce homeowners separate small-shop GCs from the thin-listed outliers. Drop a reply on this topic and a forum moderator will verify the details and incorporate them into the listing.

## Where Ja-Land sits in the Hanover cluster

This is the **13th thin-listing in the directory** after 588, 607, 608, 620, 641, 650, 679, 688, 705, 725, 732, and 733. Rural-Ontario word-of-mouth trade economies consistently produce this pattern — good contractors with limited independent web presence — and the Hanover / Grey County sub-cluster now has three thin-listed GCs ([732 MD Renovations](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/md-renovations-and-contracting/732), [733 Progress Builders](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/progress-builders/733), and Ja-Land) alongside the vetted anchors.
