# J. Francis Company, LLC — Design-Build Renovation in Pittsburgh, PA (Since 1988)

J. Francis Company has been doing design-build renovation work in Pittsburgh since 1988. The company keeps architects and interior designers on staff, which means a homeowner does not need to coordinate between a separate design firm and a contractor — the whole project goes through one team, from initial concept to finished space.

The portfolio covers kitchens, bathrooms, basements, home additions, garages, custom bars, outdoor kitchens, and whole-house remodels. Projects can get 3D renders before anyone picks up a tool, which helps clients understand what they’re committing to before construction starts. The company has received Best of Houzz recognition for ten consecutive years (2016 through 2025) and holds a BuildZoom score of 94, placing it in the top 24% of licensed contractors in Pennsylvania. The 4.7-star rating across 130+ reviews over nearly four decades reflects consistent output rather than a good stretch. Address: 1410 High St, Pittsburgh.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

J. Francis is the kind of Pittsburgh renovation firm that rarely needs to advertise: 38 years in operation, in-house design capability, and a decade of consecutive Best of Houzz awards. For homeowners doing a significant project who want a single point of accountability from design through construction, this is one of the stronger options in the Pittsburgh market.
