# J&A Devries Construction Inc — Custom Homes & Renovations in Gowanstown, ON Since 1984

J&A Devries Construction Inc. has been building and renovating homes in North Perth and surrounding Ontario communities since 1984 — more than four decades of accumulated site knowledge, trade relationships, and client references in an area where long-established contractors remain relatively rare. Founded by Alfred Devries and operating from 8664 Crayton Court in Gowanstown, the company holds a Tarion New Home Warranty Builder registration, a meaningful credential for clients commissioning new residential construction in Ontario and an important differentiator in a market where unregistered builders are still common.

## Services

- **Custom Homes** — New home construction for residential clients across North Perth, with Tarion New Home Warranty Builder registration providing statutory warranty coverage backed by Ontario’s home-building regulatory framework.
- **Additions & Renovations** — Home additions and interior renovations for existing properties, including kitchen, bathroom, and living space overhauls.
- **Commercial & Light Industrial Buildings** — Smaller commercial structures and light industrial buildings for clients in the North Perth and surrounding region.
- **Full Project Management** — Complete oversight from design review and permit applications through construction completion and Tarion enrollment.

## Service Area

J&A Devries Construction serves clients in Gowanstown, Listowel, and throughout North Perth and adjacent Perth County. Alfred Devries’ four-decade presence in the area means the company has completed projects across Perth County and into neighbouring Wellington and Huron counties.

## Why It’s on home.renovation.reviews

The Tarion New Home Warranty Builder credential places J&A Devries in a specific legal and professional category: clients who commission a new home receive the statutory warranty protections Tarion administers, covering workmanship defects, water penetration, and major structural defects for defined periods post-occupancy. For North Perth homeowners looking to build rather than buy, that accreditation is a meaningful filter that separates J&A Devries from the broader pool of unregistered builders operating in rural Ontario.
