It depends on what the homeowner values most:

- Others focus on **functionality and durability** (strong materials, efficient layouts).

- For investors, it’s about **resale return**.

In short, the same renovation may feel worth every dollar to one person, but unnecessary to another—it’s all about goals, budget, and expectation
