Design can make people forget reality. The glossy photos look amazing but nobody shows how impractical some designs really are. I remember a couple who installed stunning open shelves in the kitchen. Instagram perfect. Real-life nightmare. Dust, clutter, mismatched dishes all constantly on display. After a year, they admitted they missed real cabinets. Renovation should start with observation. Where do you cook? Where do you drop your keys? How often do guests visit? Pets? Kids? Storage needs? When you renovate around your habits, life becomes easier, not fancier-but-frustrating. Think long-term, too. Aging parents visiting, new hobbies, working from home homes change with us. Conclusion: The best renovations aren’t magazine-worthy. They’re life-worthy. Build for the way you actually live, not the way a photo suggests you should. ![copyImage](https://renovation-reviews.storage.googleapis.com/original/2X/b/b9a60f5eccd665b4ac70f84e471aba2f6c752d8b.jpeg) ---
