Thinking about enclosing our balcony with glass before winter and the timelines I’m hearing are all over the place. One installer says they’re booked until spring, another claims they could start in a couple of weeks, and the prices differ by more than double for what sounds like the same job. I can’t tell whether I’m being quoted a rush premium because the season is tight, or whether the cheap quotes just skimp on seals and drainage and I’ll pay for it in leaks later. Has anyone here booked a late-season enclosure, and how far into autumn did you manage to get yours done?
