This renovation started with a challenge: preserve the charm of an old home while making it comfortable for modern living. The “before” showed peeling paint, drafty windows, uneven floors, and outdated wiring. Yet beneath the wear were beautiful original details worth saving.

Rather than replacing everything, the renovation focused on restoration. Hardwood floors were carefully refinished instead of covered. Original crown moldings and door frames were repaired and highlighted with fresh paint. New windows were installed that matched the historic style while improving insulation.

The kitchen and bathrooms received modern updates, but materials were chosen thoughtfully classic tiles, timeless cabinetry, and finishes that respected the home’s character. Behind the walls, electrical and plumbing systems were updated for safety and efficiency.

Light fixtures inspired by the era replaced generic replacements added over the years. Every improvement was guided by a simple goal: upgrade without erasing history.

After renovation, the home retains its soul. It feels solid, comfortable, and deeply welcoming blending memory with modern convenience. Instead of losing its identity, the house gained a new chapter.
