# HG&Co Home Improvement — Kitchen, bath & outdoor renovation in Dallas, TX

Herman Guerra built HG&Co after a career that went in a few different directions first: a BA in government from UT Austin, years working in Child Protective Services and juvenile probation, then a brief stint running a restaurant. He came back to construction through his roots, his father having pulled him into weekend remodel jobs when he was young. That background shapes how he runs the company: direct communication, honest estimates, no upselling.

HG&Co operates out of 9019 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX, with a 4.9-star rating across review platforms and 87 reviews on Birdeye. Clients Kelly Kral and Darius McDonald have both left detailed write-ups highlighting communication and reliable timelines as what sets HG&Co apart.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Contractors who come to the trade after working in social services tend to have a different relationship with clients than those who grew up purely in construction. Reviewers consistently mention being treated as a person, not just a project.
