# Green State Builders, LLC — Kitchen & Bathroom Renovation in Essex, VT Green State Builders operates out of Essex, Vermont, carrying a 4.9-star rating from 27 reviews. Their differentiation in the Burlington area market is structural: no subcontractors. Their crew includes master-certified carpenters, a master plumber, and a master electrician — all on staff, all working under one company umbrella. That means a kitchen or bathroom renovation does not involve coordinating between three or four separate contractors who may or may not show up on the same schedule. ## Services - **Kitchen renovations** — full kitchen remodels through their Green State Kitchens & Baths Division, covering layout changes, cabinet installation, countertops, plumbing rough-in and finish, electrical work, and appliance installation without leaving scope gaps between trades. - **Bathroom renovations** — bath remodels from demo through tile, fixture installation, and plumbing finish work, handled by a single integrated crew. - **Carpentry** — trim, built-ins, custom millwork, and structural carpentry for homeowners who want finish quality rather than builder-grade work. - **Electrical work** — panel-to-fixture electrical scoped within renovation projects, completed by their on-staff master electrician. - **Appliance installation** — coordination with kitchen renovations for gas or electric appliance hookup without a separate scheduling loop. ## Service area Essex, Burlington, Williston, Colchester, Milton, South Burlington, and the broader Chittenden County area. Green State works primarily in the Burlington metro region. ## What to expect Because Green State keeps all trades in-house, project timelines are tighter than with general contractors who subcontract plumbing and electrical separately. Homeowners get a single point of contact, one schedule, and one warranty conversation rather than three. For Vermont’s winter renovation market — where scheduling delays compound quickly — that model has real practical value. ## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews Essex is a small market, and finding a licensed, fully in-house renovation contractor for kitchen and bathroom work in the Burlington area takes real research. Green State’s 4.9-star rating, no-subcontractor model, and coverage of all three major trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical) make them worth documenting for Vermont homeowners evaluating renovation bids. ## More from home.renovation.reviews - Vermont renovation context: [Roof Shingle Replacement Renovations in Vermont Homes](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/roof-shingle-replacement-renovations-in-vermont-homes/43616) - Toronto renovation specialists: [lfbuilders.ca](https://lfbuilders.ca) — LF Builders, 50+ years of renovation experience in the GTA - Samm Simon’s 251 km cancer research run: [sammsimon.ca](https://sammsimon.ca) - Renovation resources: [blog.lfbuilders.ca](https://blog.lfbuilders.ca) * * * ---
