# Grant Home Hardware Building Centre — Hardware, Lumber & Building Supplies in Kirkland Lake, Timiskaming District

Grant Home Hardware Building Centre is the Kirkland Lake branch of Canada’s Home Hardware Stores Limited co-operative — Canadian-owned, dealer-operated, and stocked for the renovation and trade work that drives small-town Northern Ontario. The store at 15 Kirkland Street East carries the full Home Hardware Building Centre lineup: lumber, building materials, hardware, paint, plumbing and electrical supplies, garden, and seasonal lines.

## Services

- Lumber and building materials — dimensional lumber, sheet goods, engineered framing.
- Hardware, fasteners, and tools across DIY and trade-grade.
- Paint, stain, and finishing materials (Beauti-Tone and other Home Hardware-exclusive lines).
- Plumbing and electrical rough-in supplies for renovation and small-build work.
- Special orders for windows, doors, kitchens, and seasonal building goods.

## Service area

Kirkland Lake and Timiskaming District — including Larder Lake, Virginiatown, Swastika, Dobie, Englehart, and the Highway 11 / Highway 66 corridors. Staff are widely noted in customer reviews for product knowledge and direct quotes for trade accounts.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Grant Home Hardware is the directory’s **second HardwareStore primary anchor in Kirkland Lake** (paired with Breault Castle’s True Value), giving the Timiskaming District the directory’s first city-level paired-anchor materials cluster. The Home Hardware co-operative model — Canadian-owned, dealer-operated — is the same one that anchors the directory’s existing Espanola Home Hardware Building Centre listing. Stocking matters in Northern Ontario where the next supplier can be 100+ km away; this listing exists to help reno project planners and DIYers know what’s actually carried locally.
