Our balcony just sits there unused for half the year, and I’m tempted to try one of those glazing panels or enclosure systems so the space earns its keep in the cold months. Before I get quotes or bring it up with the condo board, I’d love real numbers from anyone who has done this: what system did you choose, what did it set you back, and did it honestly make the balcony usable once temperatures dropped? Curious too whether anyone’s building made them jump through hoops for approval.
