They introduce the light, dissolve the boundaries between the indoors and the outdoors, and make homes slick and modern. A glass facade provides both style and functionality to the homeowners who want to make bold architectural statement. The greatest advantage is natural light. Massive glass windows inundate the interior with natural light and eliminate the necessity to use artificial lighting because the spaces are open and spacious. Just imagine you wake up in the morning in a bedroom with floor-to-ceiling glass, the sunrise is now a morning routine, it is an upgrade to the lifestyle just as much as an interior decision. The issue of energy efficiency usually arises but with modern glazing, this issue has been addressed. Glass with Low-E coating and with double glazing or triple glazing can also make homes cosy in all seasons by controlling the flow of heat. There are even systems which have smart glass which can transform into a frost at the press of a button. Other advantages include design flexibility. Glass facades may be frameless to achieve a minimalistic appearance or they may include wood, steel, or aluminium framing to match various architectural styles. Glass facades suit well whether it is a city townhouse or a country villa. Finally, a glass facade is not only about appearance, but also about the way it changes the experience of residing in a house. It brings the openness, closeness to nature and a feeling of contemporary luxury that makes day-to-day living seem brighter and more spacious. ---
