# From The Bottom Up Construction — Former Renovation Contractor in Englehart, Temiskaming District, ON > **Note on status:** Public records indicate this business is **permanently closed**. This listing is retained for historical and directory completeness so homeowners searching legacy Englehart-area contractor names can find related, currently-active trades in the Temiskaming region. From The Bottom Up Construction was a small-scale renovation and building outfit that operated in **Englehart, Ontario** — a town of roughly 1,400 people on Highway 11 in the Temiskaming District, between Kirkland Lake and New Liskeard. Public information on the firm’s scope is limited to a Google Maps business listing; no active website or current contact channel has been recovered, and the listing is flagged as permanently closed. ## What this listing covers - **Business status:** Permanently closed per Google Maps business listing. - **Historical service area:** Englehart and surrounding Temiskaming District communities along the Highway 11 corridor. - **Reason we’re keeping the entry:** Directory visitors searching the Englehart name can be re-routed to active, vetted Northern Ontario builders on this forum instead of being dropped at a dead page. ## Still looking for an active Temiskaming-area builder? The `home.renovation.reviews` directory keeps a bench of active Temiskaming and Northern Ontario general contractors. Start with these nearby entries: - [Rivard Bros Building Contractor (New Liskeard)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/rivard-bros-building-contractor-new-liskeard-temiskaming/630) — family-run Temiskaming GC since 1958. - [Hearn Construction (New Liskeard)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/hearn-construction-new-liskeard-general-contractor/632) — 20+ year GC founded 2001. - [Northern Overhead Doors & Renos (Earlton)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/northern-overhead-doors-renos-earlton-temiskaming/631) — combined garage-door + renovation shop. Preserving a flagged historical entry with clear “closed” framing is more useful than a silent delete — the same reason we kept the 90-year [Brisson Building Centre (Cochrane)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/brisson-castle-building-centre-cochrane/1012) in the directory when it wound down. ## About home.renovation.reviews home.renovation.reviews is the renovation review forum operated alongside [LF Builders](https://lfbuilders.ca) — a Toronto-area renovation firm with 50+ years and 30,000+ completed projects — and the [LF Builders blog](https://blog.lfbuilders.ca).
