Kitchens are often the heart of a home but older ones can feel dark cramped and outdated This was the case in a recent renovation where a 90s style kitchen was transformed into a bright modern hub Before the room had heavy wooden cabinets outdated appliances and limited counter space The layout felt closed off and storage was a constant challenge After renovation the kitchen became unrecognizable Walls were opened up to connect with the living space New cabinets in a lighter finish added both style and storage A large island created room for cooking and casual dining Modern appliances efficient lighting and sleek countertops completed the upgrade The result was a kitchen that felt welcoming functional and built for modern life Final thought before and after kitchen projects show how impactful this room can be Updating the space not only improves daily living but also boosts property value in a major way ![IMG_1172](https://renovation-reviews.storage.googleapis.com/original/2X/2/20a7ba49927a8ebebbdd006f025952673f23d278.jpeg) ---
