# FAC Construction Inc — General Contractor & Renovation in Sherbrooke, QC

FAC Construction has been working the Sherbrooke residential market since 2007. That’s nearly two decades of framing, siding, masonry, and kitchen-to-basement renovation work in the Estrie region. The company holds RBQ licence 8351-5205-42 and carries both APCHQ affiliation and Réno-Maître certification — the latter opens access to Quebec’s Réno-prêt financing programme, which many homeowners don’t realize is available to them.

The crew depth is worth noting. Two in-house framers bring 35 years of combined residential construction experience, backed by six seasonal framers for larger-volume builds. FAC also runs a separate Montreal office dedicated entirely to masonry, so clients with complex stonework or brick scopes aren’t handed off to a subcontractor — that crew reports to the same management.

The company built much of its Sherbrooke reputation on exterior work: home facades, siding replacements, and covered additions where the transition between interior and exterior finish demands precise carpentry. Interior kitchen and bathroom projects have grown into a substantial portion of the workload, particularly full gut-and-rebuild renovations where framing and masonry run concurrently.

## Services

- General contracting and project coordination for residential builds and additions
- Carpentry and structural framing
- Exterior siding, home facades, and cladding replacements
- Masonry and joinery (in-house Montreal masonry crew)
- Kitchen and bathroom renovation
- Verandas and covered additions

## Service area

FAC Construction works primarily in Sherbrooke, Magog, and Eastman, with broader reach across the Estrie region of Quebec.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

The Réno-Maître designation matters practically, not just symbolically. It’s an RBQ-supervised program that confirms a contractor maintains professional conduct and financial stability — and it’s the gateway to government-backed renovation loans. Clients comparing quotes in Sherbrooke should confirm whether each contractor carries this credential, not just a standard RBQ number.
