# Dwell Construction — Design-Build-Renovate Contractor in Ingersoll, Oxford County, ON

Dwell Construction is a design-build-renovate shop based at 147 Thames Street South in Ingersoll. Husband-and-wife founders Matt and Lisa opened the firm in 2011 in their hometown after Matt came up through commercial construction at scale — Fanshawe College carpentry credentials in 2002, membership in Local 1946 Carpentry Union out of London, Ontario, and years as a project coordinator and chief estimator running crews on builds ranging from $100k renovations to $7M supermarket base-builds. That production-construction background is uncommon in a small-town residential shop and shapes how Dwell estimates, schedules, and closes out projects.

## Services

- Design-build residential renovations with in-house design direction
- Kitchen, bathroom, and living-space remodels
- Additions and interior reconfigurations
- Basement finishing and living-space conversions
- Project-coordination-led delivery drawn from commercial-construction discipline

## Service Area

Ingersoll and the surrounding Oxford County communities — Woodstock, Thamesford, Tillsonburg, and adjacent addresses. Selected London and Middlesex-area projects where travel fits the scope.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Dwell is **the sixth Oxford County anchor** on the directory and the first listing to disclose a **carpentry-union origin story** — a signal homeowners can read about how the shop treats trade training and scope discipline. Design-build-renovate under one roof is also relatively rare in small-town Ontario; most owners end up splitting design, estimating, and build across three vendors, which Dwell compresses into one contract.
