The team handles both exterior work — roofing being their primary specialty — and broader general contracting for homeowners who need a single contractor managing a larger renovation scope.

## Services

- **General Contracting** — full renovation project management for homeowners requiring trade coordination across carpentry, exteriors, and interior renovation work
- **Home Exterior Work** — siding, fascia, soffit, and exterior envelope repairs and replacements handled alongside roofing work for complete exterior packages
- **Renovation Coordination** — management of multi-trade residential renovation projects where a single point of contact is needed to coordinate schedules and quality across subtrades

## Service Area

Don & Son Contracting Ltd is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and serves the broader Halifax Regional Municipality.

## What to Expect Working with Don & Son

The company’s dual capacity as a roofing specialist and a general contractor is useful for homeowners dealing with overlapping exterior and interior renovation needs. A roof replacement that uncovers rotted decking or damaged soffits doesn’t require a second contractor — the team can handle the full scope. Reviews reflect a company that is responsive and capable across both service lines.

## Why It’s on home.renovation.reviews

Roofing is one of the most consequential maintenance decisions a Halifax homeowner can make — the cost of a failed roof system extends far beyond the roof itself. Don & Son Contracting’s combination of roofing expertise and general contracting scope means homeowners dealing with exterior damage or a full envelope assessment have one qualified team to call rather than two.
