Adding window box planters is a simple DIY project that can instantly boost your home’s curb appeal. These decorative boxes bring color and charm, making your exterior more inviting without requiring major renovations. ![1000203810](https://renovation-reviews.storage.googleapis.com/original/2X/9/95c07ae4a46e08e4129024f0cf9763de41a12858.jpeg) Start by choosing a material that complements your home’s style wood for a classic look, metal for modern flair, or durable vinyl for low maintenance. Measure your windows carefully, ensuring the box extends slightly beyond the frame for balance. Proper drainage is essential, so drill holes at the bottom before planting. When selecting plants, mix trailing greenery with colorful flowers for visual depth. Securely mount the boxes using brackets or screws rated for outdoor use, making sure they can handle the weight of soil and water. **Conclusion: With just a few tools and some creativity, DIY window box planters offer a budget-friendly way to enhance your home’s exterior and create a welcoming first impression.** ---
