# DeBritos Home Improvement & Remodeling — renovation contractor in Watertown, CT (5★, family-run)

Freddie and Maira DeBrito run this family-owned residential and commercial renovation business out of Arcadia Avenue in Watertown, a few miles west of Waterbury. The work covers kitchen and bathroom remodels, drywall, flooring, carpentry, and interior and exterior painting. As a family operation, Freddie runs the on-site crew directly — there’s no foreman layer between the owner and the work, which shows in the reviews.

Watertown’s housing stock runs heavily toward older colonials and split-levels, many of which carry the kind of detail work that benefits from a contractor who takes finishing seriously. DeBritos handles those scopes without the scheduling drift that can hit larger operations managing multiple concurrent projects.

## Services

- Kitchen remodeling from layout changes and cabinet replacement through to full custom builds
- Bathroom renovation including tile, fixtures, vanities, and full gut-and-rebuild scopes
- Drywall installation and repair, including skim-coat finishes on older plaster walls
- Interior and exterior painting, flooring installation, and finish carpentry

## Service area

Watertown, CT and surrounding Naugatuck Valley communities, including Waterbury and the greater Litchfield County area.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

A clean 5-star rating from over 50 customers, with consistent feedback about on-time completion and personal attention from the owners. DeBritos is currently offering 10% off kitchen and bath renovation projects. For homeowners in the Watertown and Waterbury area looking for a smaller, owner-operated contractor rather than a crew-of-the-week operation, this is a solid option.
