#### 📋 **Job‑Site Scenario**

You’re overseeing **three separate hard‑scape zones** in one backyard makeover:

| Zone (needs finishing) | Shape / Size |
| --- | --- |
| **Fire‑Pit Patio** | circular 14 ft Ø |
| **Garden Path** | winding 3 ft × 25 ft |
| **Front Porch** | rectangle 8 ft × 10 ft |

Each zone uses:

- **Exactly one paving pattern** : **Herringbone** , **Basket‑Weave** , or **Running Bond**
- **Exactly one stone colour** : **Gray** , **Tan** , or **Brick‑Red**

No two zones share the same pattern **or** colour.

#### 🧲 **Construction‑Site Clues**

1. The **herringbone** pattern is **not** laid on the garden path.
2. **Tan** pavers appear **with** the **basket‑weave** design.
3. The **fire‑pit patio** is **gray** (but its pattern is still unknown).
4. The **running‑bond** area does **not** use red pavers.
5. The **front porch** does **not** showcase a basket‑weave pattern.

From these five nuggets of masonry wisdom, there is **one and only one** way to assign pattern + colour to each zone.
