# Davies Home Improvements — Custom Renovations, Additions & New Homes in Grimsby / Hamilton, ON

Davies Home Improvements is a family-run carpentry and general-contracting firm based at 13 Marr Avenue in Grimsby, owned and operated by carpenter Brian Davies since 2014. The shop works on a full design-through-build cycle — new home construction, home additions, and whole-home renovations — and anchors the directory’s Grimsby cluster as the carpenter-led end of the local scope spectrum.

## Services

- **New home builds** — custom homes from design through handover, with carpentry run in-house by the owner.
- **Home additions & extensions** — second storeys, rear additions, and footprint expansions on existing homes.
- **Full home renovations** — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, and fences handled on the same crews.

## Service Area

Grimsby (home base), Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Dundas, Burlington, and the rest of Niagara-west / Greater Hamilton along the QEW. Over a decade building homes for families across that corridor.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Carpenter-owned GCs are the kind of shop where the finish work and the framing decisions come from the same head — worth singling out on the directory because the resulting projects tend to read as more coherent than work split across a GC and separately hired carpenters. Davies’s long Hamilton / Grimsby track record is the main trust signal here.
