# David Latchford Construction Ltd — Roofing & Renovation Contractor in Grimsby, Ontario

For over 35 years, David Latchford Construction Ltd. has served homeowners in Grimsby and across the Niagara Region, building a practice grounded in repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals rather than heavy advertising. Based at 226 Main Street East in Grimsby, the firm specializes in residential roofing — shingle tear-downs, new installations, custom flashing, and leaf guard systems — while also taking on general renovation scopes for clients throughout the Niagara peninsula. The company is fully insured and experienced with insurance claims, making it a practical choice when weather damage or aging materials mean a roof needs attention quickly and correctly.

## Services

- **Residential shingle roofing** — complete roof tear-down, removal, disposal, and new shingle installation for homes across Grimsby and the broader Niagara Region
- **Custom flashing** — precision flashing work around chimneys, dormers, skylights, valleys, and penetrations to ensure long-term watertight performance
- **Leaf guard installation** — gutter-protection systems that reduce seasonal maintenance requirements and protect fascia and soffit from moisture infiltration
- **General renovation** — broader home improvement scopes delivered by the same experienced team that handles roofing, ensuring continuity and accountability across the project

## Service Area

David Latchford Construction serves Grimsby and the wider Niagara Region of Ontario, including communities along the Lake Ontario escarpment corridor.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Roofing specialists with 35+ years of uninterrupted local operation are uncommon in any market, and David Latchford Construction Ltd. is among the most tenured firms listed in the Niagara section of the directory. A high proportion of repeat and referral business — the company’s own stated measure of success — is a reliable proxy for quality that advertising ratings can’t easily replicate. Their listing in the Grimsby Chamber directory further confirms their established local presence.
