This project was done in a **small bedroom in New Orleans, Louisiana**. The room felt flat and boring, even though everything was technically fine. Instead of renovating, I decided to experiment with color.

**Before photo – plain walls and empty bedroom**.

I chose a two-tone wall design with a darker shade on the lower half. Cutting the paint line evenly was harder than expected. The tape bled in one section, and I had to touch it up by hand.

**During renovation – painting and taping wall design**.

Once the paint dried, the room felt more intentional and less boxy. One corner still isn’t perfectly clean if you look closely, but most people never notice it.

**After photo – finished two-tone bedroom wall**.

This wasn’t a big renovation, but it completely changed how the room feels. For a **New Orleans** home, using color creatively was an easy way to add character without major work.

🎨 **Honest Thought**

Bold ideas are scary at first, but they usually pay off.
