# Cornerstone Construction — General Contractor in Oshawa, Ontario Cornerstone Construction is an Oshawa-based renovation contractor covering Durham Region homeowners who want one team handling a project from demo through finish. The company focuses on full-home renovations alongside smaller interior upgrades, which is the useful mix when a bathroom refresh quietly turns into a layout change. Their public-facing site is at [cornerstoneconstruction-inc.com](https://cornerstoneconstruction-inc.com/). ## Services - **Full-home renovations** — gutting, layout changes, and rebuild-to-code work where structure and finishes both need attention. - **Kitchen renovations** — cabinetry, counters, appliances, and the electrical/plumbing rework that usually comes with them. - **Bathroom renovations** — tile, fixtures, waterproofing, and minor layout shifts. - **Interior remodelling** — flooring, trim, doors, and paint refreshes when the bones are already sound. - **Additions & basements** — finishing lower levels or adding usable square footage. ## Service Area Oshawa is the home base, with Durham Region coverage extending to Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Courtice, and Bowmanville — the corridor where the majority of east-GTA reno demand sits. ## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews Durham pros are under-represented in most Toronto-centric directories. We keep a separate lane for east-GTA contractors so Oshawa and Whitby homeowners aren’t stuck filtering through Mississauga-only listings. Cornerstone fits that slot — a local-first GC with a straightforward service list. ## More from home.renovation.reviews - Related Durham listing: [CCR Renovations (Whitby)](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/ccr-renovations/382) - Reno-planning reference: [Modern Bathrooms 2026 Design Guide](https://blog.lfbuilders.ca/blog/modern-bathrooms-2026-vanities-showers/) - Main site: [LF Builders — renovation services](https://lfbuilders.ca/) * * * ---
