The company has 25 years in the construction and renovation trade, with 10 of those years spent specifically on disaster recovery — fire, water, and mold damage projects that require demolition expertise and the ability to rebuild quickly once remediation is complete. The Google rating sits at 4.7 from 61 reviews, which is a meaningful sample for a regional contractor. Clients can reach the team at 819-566-6888. What separates Perreault from a typical reno shop is the asbestos removal and mold remediation capacity. Older properties in Quebec — and Sherbrooke has plenty of mid-20th century building stock — often carry environmental issues that surface during any significant gut renovation. Having demolition, hazmat, and rebuild capability under one roof reduces coordination friction and avoids the common delay where a project stalls between a demolition crew and a remediation crew waiting on each other. The disaster recovery side also brings a specific kind of workflow knowledge: insurance claims documentation, remediation sequencing, adjuster communication, and the rebuild phase that follows. Homeowners dealing with a claims-driven rebuild typically have less margin for error and need a contractor who understands the insurance process, not just the construction side. ## Services - Interior renovation: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, railings, stairs - Exterior work: roofing, patios, windows, doors, painting - Post-disaster reconstruction: fire damage, water damage, flood recovery - Asbestos removal and hazardous material abatement - Mold remediation and moisture mitigation - Demolition and site preparation ## Service area Construction Yvon Perreault works throughout the Estrie region, based in Sherbrooke. ## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews Disaster recovery renovation is a distinct discipline from standard renovation. Perreault’s 10 years of focused post-disaster experience — combined with in-house hazmat capability — makes them worth shortlisting for any Estrie homeowner dealing with a claims-driven rebuild, not just a standard reno project. ## More from home.renovation.reviews - Related: [FAC Construction Inc — General Contractor & Renovation in Sherbrooke, QC](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/fac-construction-inc/6083) - Related: [Tandem Service Après Sinistre — Disaster Restoration in Laval, QC](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/tandem-service-apres-sinistre-disaster-restoration-in-laval-/6063) - Guide: [Renovation resources and guides](https://blog.lfbuilders.ca) - Main site: [lfbuilders.ca — Toronto-area home renovation since 1974](https://lfbuilders.ca) - Charity: Samm Simon is running 251 km for cancer research — [sammsimon.ca](https://sammsimon.ca) * * *
