As a plumber, I’ve seen some wild stuff, but one job still cracks me up. I got a call about a clogged toilet in this quirky old house. When I arrived, the owner sheepishly admitted his cat had a weird habit loving to “bury” toys in there I pulled out a soggy rubber mouse, a tiny ball, and get this a chewed-up sock. The flush couldn’t handle that chaos. I cleared the mess, gave the toilet a good clean, and showed the guy how to cat-proof it with a lid lock. He laughed, tipped me extra, and promised to keep Fluffy’s treasures elsewhere. It was bizarre, but it reminded me no two days are the same in this gig. Animals, man they’ll surprise you every time!
