# Colonial Remodeling & Construction, Inc. — Roofing in Montgomery, IL

Colonial Remodeling & Construction has been doing roofing and general contracting work in the Montgomery area since 1977. Based at 321 Webster St, the company holds an unlimited roofing license in Illinois — the highest tier the state issues for this trade — and carries Owens Corning Preferred Contractor status and GAF distributor certification alongside NRCA membership. Their work spans residential, commercial, and industrial roofing: new installs, replacements, and repair across the Montgomery, Oswego, and Aurora area.

## Services

- **Residential roofing** : New roof installations, re-roofing, and roof repair for homeowners throughout the southwest Chicago suburbs, using materials sourced as a GAF distributor
- **Commercial and industrial roofing** : Flat, low-slope, and pitched roof systems for commercial and industrial properties, backed by the unlimited roofing license that Illinois requires for larger commercial projects
- **General contracting** : Full-scope GC work alongside the core roofing business for clients needing broader project coordination

## Service area

Montgomery, Oswego, and Aurora; southwest Chicago suburbs.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

An unlimited roofing license in Illinois authorizes work on any commercial or industrial job regardless of project value — it’s a step above the residential-only license most local roofers carry. Owens Corning Preferred status and GAF distributor certification are manufacturer credentials that require ongoing installation quality reviews. The combination of those credentials, a 1977 founding date, and NRCA membership puts Colonial in a small group of Illinois roofing contractors with consistent documentation of both longevity and technical standing.
