# Chet Construction Ltd — General Contractor & Restoration Specialist in Halifax, NS

Chet Construction Ltd. brings a practical combination of speed and quality to renovation work in the Halifax market. Their track record includes a 5,000 sq ft restoration project completed in two months, a result that reflects coordination discipline across multiple trades rather than raw crew size. With a perfect 5-star rating, Chet Construction has become a reliable choice for Halifax homeowners tackling complex restoration and renovation scopes.

## Services

Large-scale restoration covers whole-home and multi-unit projects with experience managing high-volume scopes under firm timelines while maintaining finish quality throughout. Basement renovations and subflooring include complete lower-level work with engineered subfloor systems; the team presents unconventional approaches like glue-nailed construction when they produce better outcomes than standard methods. Interior renovation and remodelling covers full-scope transformations including framing, drywall, flooring, trim, and finish work. General contracting provides single-point coordination for renovation projects of varying scale, with the team handling trade sequencing and site supervision from start to sign-off.

## Service area

Halifax and the broader Halifax Regional Municipality, including Dartmouth and surrounding Nova Scotia communities.

## What to expect working with Chet Construction

Chet’s project team is known for presenting clients with options, not a single plan. Whether it is a subfloor system, a timeline approach, or a material choice, they walk through the trade-offs and let clients make informed decisions. That approach, combined with their track record on large-scale projects, produces renovation experiences that consistently earn repeat referrals.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Chet’s willingness to think past default solutions and explain why an alternative method better serves the client separates good renovation outcomes from great ones. In a market where many contractors offer one approach, Chet offers options.
