# Carmody Construction Inc. — roofing, siding & windows in Oswego, IL (family-owned since 1948)

Tim Carmody’s family founded this company in Oswego in 1948 — over 75 years in the same western Chicago suburb market. The focus is on exterior work: roof replacement, siding, replacement windows and doors, gutters, and storm damage insurance restoration for both residential and some commercial clients. Address: 27 B Stonehill Rd, Oswego, IL. Phone: 630-355-0002.

## Services

- Roof replacement, repair, and insurance restoration for hail and wind damage
- Siding installation and replacement across multiple material types
- Replacement windows and exterior doors
- Gutter installation and soffit/fascia work
- Storm damage assessment and insurance claim support

## Service area

Oswego, Romeoville, and surrounding western Chicago suburbs across DuPage and Will counties. The company has built most of its business through referrals within a tight geographic area — which explains why a 75-year-old company hasn’t had to grow beyond a manageable service radius.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

A 4.8-star rating from 139 reviewers is a meaningful data set for an exterior contractor. Roofing and siding work is easy to phone in — plenty of storm-chasing outfits do exactly that. A multi-generational family business still operating in the same community after 75 years is a different kind of signal. Jimbo Amenhauser and Tim Carmody are regularly mentioned by name in reviews, which points to a hands-on ownership model rather than a managed franchise.
