# Carick Home Improvements — North York General Contractor

Carick Home Improvements is a North York general contractor focused on the mid-range renovation jobs that make up most of Toronto’s reno market — kitchens, bathrooms, and interior updates for homeowners who want their house refreshed, not rebuilt. Their website is [carickhomes.com](http://carickhomes.com/).

## Services

- **Kitchen renovations** — cabinetry, counters, islands, and the electrical/plumbing rework that comes with a modern layout.
- **Bathroom renovations** — tile, vanities, tub-to-shower conversions, and waterproofing-first rebuilds.
- **Interior remodelling** — flooring, trim, paint, and door swaps to refresh a home before sale or after purchase.
- **Basement finishing** — framing, drywall, egress where needed, and full finish work.
- **Small additions & envelope work** — rear additions, porch rebuilds, and envelope repairs on older Toronto homes.

## Service Area

North York is the home base, with coverage across Toronto, Vaughan, Markham, and Richmond Hill — a typical north-Toronto GC radius. Lansing, Bathurst Manor, Newtonbrook, and Willowdale see regular activity.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

North York’s housing stock runs heavy on post-war homes that need both cosmetic and mechanical attention. Listings like Carick’s, which cover the kitchen/bath/interior-refresh slice of that market, fill one of the most-searched categories in the directory — the segment where most homeowners actually want quotes, not full custom builds.
