# Bosse Construction, Inc. — Commercial GC & Historic Renovation in Louisville, KY

Bosse Construction has been operating as a commercial general contractor in Louisville, KY since 2000, though the management team behind it has worked together for over 30 years. The company focuses on a fairly specific corner of the market: historic renovation, hospitality construction, multi-family residential, and projects for not-for-profit organizations. That last specialty is genuinely unusual for a commercial GC and sets Bosse apart from the usual pool of Louisville contractors chasing office-fit and retail work.

## Services

- **Historic Renovation** : Structural and finish work on period buildings, with experience navigating the permitting and material requirements that come with registered-historic properties in Louisville’s older neighborhoods.
- **Hospitality & Multi-Family Construction** : New construction and renovation for hotels, apartments, and mixed-use developments across the Louisville metro.
- **Not-for-Profit & Institutional** : Facilities work for community organizations, churches, and mission-driven clients — a niche that rewards contractors with patience and long-term client relationships.

## Service Area

Louisville, Jefferson County, and the broader Metro Louisville region. The company’s focus on institutional and multi-family work means most projects are within the urban core and established neighborhoods of Jefferson County.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Louisville’s stock of historic commercial buildings is substantial, and finding a GC with genuine hands-on experience rather than a vague “historic work” line item on a capabilities sheet is harder than it sounds. Bosse Construction shows up here because their track record in that niche is worth flagging for property owners, architects, and non-profits working on older buildings.
