The company handles design-build construction, re-roofing, and ongoing building maintenance for both residential and commercial clients — a range that positions it as a longer-term trade partner rather than a single-project contractor. The 4.8-star rating from six clients reflects a firm that keeps its project volume deliberate and quality consistent. In a rating pool that small, every review carries weight, and near-perfect scores suggest repeat business and referrals rather than a one-off lucky streak. Belleville’s economy of heritage homes, light industrial buildings, and newer residential subdivisions creates the kind of mixed project pipeline that suits a contractor with broad service capability. The design-build model is worth noting for clients considering a significant renovation or new build. Rather than commissioning design from an architect or designer and then sourcing a separate contractor to execute it, design-build consolidates both under one contract. That removes the communication gap between designer and builder, simplifies accountability, and typically speeds the path from concept to construction start. ## Services - Design-build construction for residential and light commercial projects: integrated design and construction under a single contract from concept through completion - Re-roofing and complete roof replacement: material selection, tear-off, and installation for residential and commercial roofs across Hastings County - Commercial and residential building maintenance contracts: scheduled and reactive maintenance for property managers and building owners - General contracting and interior renovation: structural and interior work for room conversions, additions, and full-building renovations - Exterior building envelope repairs and upgrades: cladding, flashing, soffits, and exterior system repairs - Project management from design through completion: trade coordination, permit management, and client reporting throughout the construction process ## Service Area Belleville, Trenton, Quinte West, Kingston, and Hastings County, ON ## Why It’s on home.renovation.reviews Design-build contractors who also carry maintenance contracts are relatively rare in secondary Ontario markets. Bel-Con’s Belleville base and near-perfect client score make it a strong entry for the Bay of Quinte corridor. ## More from home.renovation.reviews - See related: [Black Onyx Construction Inc — home renovation in Aylmer, ON](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/black-onyx-construction-inc/2881) - Guide: [Commercial and residential renovation advice for Ontario property owners](https://blog.lfbuilders.ca) - Main site: [LF Builders — Toronto-area renovation contractors with 50 years in business](https://lfbuilders.ca) - Charity: [Samm Simon’s 251 KM run for cancer research](https://sammsimon.ca) * * *
