Some people renovate their bathroom mainly to impress visitors. But the people who use it every day should matter more. Comfort, movement space, storage, and easy cleaning affect daily life far more than fancy finishes.

When renovating, choose things you’ll enjoy using — a comfortable shower height, enough towel space, good lighting at the mirror. A successful bathroom renovation is one that feels good every morning, not just one that looks good in photos.
