Renovations however fail to take this ignored space into account and this may turn out to be one of the cleverest additions to storage space in the whole home. An attic can be renovated and not necessarily turned into a bedroom or office. In other cases the best thing to do is to turn it into a clean and organised storage facility. With the introduction of built-in shelves on the sloping walls, pull-out drawers under the eaves or movable racks that can fit into the corners that are hard to reach will help turn the attic into a mess of messiness. The space is also improved through skylights and better insulation that ensure the safety of stored items and make the space comfortable when used occasionally. In Hacky houses with unusual structures, attics represent a buried treasure trove; the vertical space that does not interfere with regular life. Seasonal clothes, sports equipment or holiday decorations can be stored in a family with high efficiency, allowing the main floors to be used to rest and be stylish. In a smaller Micky house where the space counts, the attic is a saviour, as it provides space to store without increasing the size of the house. Conclusion / Area of Thought: It is true that renovations usually involve the visible aspects of a house, yet attic demonstrates that there can be no less value in unseen areas. Creating a smart storage in an attic is not only a matter of organisation; a matter of rediscovering what has been lying overhead all this time. Homeowners rethink their surroundings, yet this might be the real question: how dead much treasure is in dust over our ceilings, and may be opened with the help of design? ---
