# Arete Renovators, Inc. — design-build remodeling in Chicago, IL (Est. 2002, 4.9 stars/128 reviews)

Igor and Davor founded Arete Renovators in 2002 alongside their father Jovo, a master carpenter. What started as a family contracting business became a full design-build firm by 2014, when the team opened a showroom and design studio at 3821 W. Montrose Ave. in Chicago’s Albany Park neighborhood. Phone: 773-683-3033. The 4.9-star average from 128 reviewers — across single-family homes, condos, and commercial spaces — is one of the stronger review profiles in the Chicago market.

## Services

- Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
- Full interior home renovations for single-family homes and multifamily buildings
- High-rise condominium interior remodeling
- Commercial remodeling for offices and retail
- In-house design studio with material and finish selection
- Permit procurement and project coordination

## Service area

Chicago and the surrounding Chicagoland metro area. The Albany Park design studio draws clients from across the city and near suburbs.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

The design-build model at Arete is more than a marketing line — clients get a single point of contact from the initial walk-through through final punch list, with the Design and Architectural Team directly involved at each stage. A designated Project Coordinator handles day-to-day communication once construction begins. That level of structure is unusual for a residential contractor and explains the consistent 4.9-star performance across a large and varied review set.
