## Questions to Ask Before You Hire

White Rock and South Surrey homeowners often work on character homes and waterfront-adjacent properties with specific considerations. Before committing to Above All Contracting for any scope of work:

- **Do you have experience with permit applications through the City of Surrey’s South Surrey permit office?** White Rock sits in a municipal boundary adjacent to Surrey — confirm which municipality governs your specific property before assuming permit routing.
- **How do you approach older homes with original finishes?** Character homes often require careful demolition to preserve period details. Ask whether the team has experience with heritage-era mouldings, trim profiles, or original flooring.
- **What does your project communication process look like day to day?** Above All’s 4.7-star rating frequently cites clear communication — ask them to describe how updates are delivered during active work.

These questions will confirm whether Above All’s approach matches the specific needs of a South Surrey or White Rock property.
