Looks like this category has been sitting quiet since it was stood up in January, so a proper anchor post to set the tone.

The **Charity** category is where we collect everything the community is doing beyond the usual reno work: fundraisers, cause-marketing, volunteer trade days, and community builds where crews donate time or materials. Different from the rest of the site — nothing here needs a quote, a permit, or a contractor bid.

The current headliner: **Samm Simon’s 251 KM charity run** for cancer research. Beneficiaries are the **London Health Sciences Cancer Program** , **Stratford General ER** , and **Wellspring Stratford**.
