Sarah’s bathroom was small, outdated, and cluttered. With just 45 square feet, she faced the challenge of making the most of a limited space while creating a modern and functional design. The first step was removing the bulky bathtub, which consumed too much room. She replaced it with a walk in shower featuring glass doors. This not only freed up space but also allowed natural light to flow throughout the room. White subway tiles brightened the shower walls, and a strip of mosaic tiles added visual interest. Storage was a major concern. To solve this, Sarah installed a floating vanity with drawers, which provided organization without crowding the floor. She added built-in shelves above the toilet for towels and toiletries, maximizing vertical space. Lighting transformed the atmosphere. Recessed ceiling lights eliminated shadows, while a backlit mirror over the vanity made the room feel larger. A neutral color palette of whites and grays kept the design clean, while small plants brought warmth and freshness. The remodel also included new plumbing fixtures, chosen for both function and style. Chrome finishes tied the design together, giving the bathroom a modern and polished look. Conclusion: Sarah’s project proves that small bathrooms can achieve big results with the right design approach. By removing bulky elements, adding clever storage, and maximizing light, she created a bathroom that feels spacious, stylish, and functional. This case study highlights how smart design decisions can transform even the smallest spaces into enjoyable retreats. ![1000541204](https://renovation-reviews.storage.googleapis.com/original/2X/1/1b7eb8454a923aff00771e466631c165a7a1a2de.jpeg) ---
